Wow - I can't believe it has been since April 12 that I have updated this blog. Standby for lots of pictures and not too many words!!!

Last minute preparations for transport,
All did not end well for these two. Precht's Chapel arrived to pick up one deceased patient and we transported the other. I love this photo as the State Patrolman was my little brother's best friend when they were very young! It is so good to work with him now!

In preparation for EMS Week - we do all work as a team . For those wondering what the TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms) are: OCFD6 (Okanogan County Fire District #6), TPD (Twisp Police Department), WMO (Winthrop Marshall's Office), OCSO (Okanogan County Sheriff's Office), TRH (Three Rivers Hospital), MVH (Mid Valley Hospital),  CWH (Central Washington Hospital), HMC (Harborview Medical Center) and WSP (Washington State Patrol).

Mel Hartwig (one of board members) restored this Tandem Bike and donated to Blue Star Coffee Roasters. Vikki and I rode it down to show them!! We will keep it for the Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday May18th at Twisp Works and then deliver it Blue Star! Make sure you get your passports signed!!! Blue Star Coffee Roasters

Theresa and Kurt were able to attend the EMS Summit this year. Thank you North Douglas/Okanogan County EMS Council and North Central Region Emergency Care Council for your support. Thank you Mike Helbock and EMS Associates for putting on a spectacular conference. Next year the Summit will be April 24-26 at Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. So mark your calendars!! It is not too far to drive for first class education, training, enlightenment, validation and inspiration.
